 The Model 1837 is a complete telephone entry and access control system that is suited for apartment and gated community applications as well as office buildings and industrial sites. The unique "One Touch" CALL button makes this system one of the easiest to use on the market today! The built-in electronic directory, easy to use Remote Account Manager programming software, card reader interface and expandability options make this unit an ideal choice for those applications with a large number of system users and entry locations. Up to 16 card readers can be interfaced with the 1837 to provide access control. Additionally, an elevator control module restricts which floors a guest or system user has access to making it an ideal system for high rise buildings. For additional security, the 1837 allows you to monitor activity AS IT HAPPENS on your computer display (requires RS-232 connection), and with the anti-pass back memory upgrade, you can enable a TRUE anti-pass back system in one of three different configurations; passive, active and trap.
The 1837 is available in three distinct styles: Surface mount, Flush mount and Wall mount.
The 1837 is available in two types of memory. The STANDARD memory is ideal for telephone entry system and access control applications, and will support expandability and elevator control. The ANTI-PASS BACK (AP) memory upgrade provides TRUE anti-pass back capability to the system.
Options available with this model:
Tracker expansion boards to control up to 16 entry points (one required per entry point). Tracker expansion boards record door ajar and forced entry data, and also provide gate operator data to the entry system.
Elevator control module. Each module controls one elevator shaft and 16 floors. You can add elevator control boards to control up to 4 elevator shafts with each elevator serving up to 64 floors.

Back up battery.
Heater kit (recommended when temperatures routinely fall below 10F / -12C).
